Build A BasketSpend the day with your friends filling your basket with flora and fauna from Two Star Design. You provide the fat quarter background fabric, one package of medium ric rac for stems and we provide the die cut, fusible basket and flower component shapes. Together we will explore the use of simple, prefused, die cut shapes to create a stunning basket arrangement all the while exploring machine raw edge applique and those cool decorative stitches on your sewing machine. Your guild may also select a special basket theme such as Valentines or Shamrocks, too. Kit fee is additional.
Bloomin' Circles Wall Quilt Try your hand or improve your skills at raw edge machine applique. Kit will make a 4-block wall hanging and contains enough die cut, prefused shapes to complete the wallhanging. You provide fabric for background and borders. Topics include:
• Raw edge applique - what are my options?
• Setting the blocks together - with or without sashing?
• Finishing the quilt - what's in a border and a binding?
Kit fee is additional.
Bloomin' HeartsExplore the world of raw edge applique with this single block design from Two Star Design. Each kit contains prefused, die cut shapes to form one Bloomin' Hearts block. All you have to do is provide the background fabric and fuse and sew! When completed, you have a single block which can be used as a pillow, central design for a round robin or tablerunner, or the start of a larger project. Kit fee is additional.
Each event is priced without regard to travel or other expenses. All travel mileage will be expensed to the client at the current IRS rate. Other expenses, such as airfare, hotel and meals when necessary, are at the expense of the client.
• Lecture Fee: $150 for one hour lecture with Q and A when time permits.
• Class Fee: $300 for three hour class• Workshop fee: $500 for 6 hour workshop
• Retreat: $800 for two day retreat, plus lodging and meals
• $45.00 per appraisal, which includes written evaluation and photographs
• $25.00 per oral evaluation and dating.
